Madrassathul Muhammadiya is an educational institution founded by three noble and generous merchants of Calicut , namely as Kamakkantagath Kunchammed Koya Sahib,Koyappathody Muhammed Kutty Sahib and Haji V Ali Baramy Sahib. The school was opened on 5thoctober 1918 as a middle school with 9 students and 2 teachers. in 1947 the middle school was upgraded to a high school .In 1995 Govt of Kerala was please to sanction a vocational course of two years attached to the high school. The courses are in Refrigeration & Air conditioning and Repair & Maintenance of Domestic Appliances . In 2000 Govt has sanctioned higher secondary courses in three batches (one commerce and two science). The school is now known as M.M Vocational Higher Secondary School and has a strength of more than 3000 students and 135 staff members.
