| Kannam Paramba Grave Yard | After a long period of negligence, Kannam Paramba - the prime graveyard of thekkepuram and calicut - reconstructed under the patronage of a new working committee.
Work Accomplished:
* The area is cleaned by removing bushes and unwanted plants.
* Construction of paved footpaths to access most of the area.
* Construction of Mayyiths' bath house.
* Renovation of KannamParamba Mosque.
* Construction of compound wall on the west side of the area.
* A seperate access gate to the site.
Pendings / Under Construction:
* Lighting the area. A minimum of six poles and a dozen mercury lamps are needed.
* Additonal Mobile Shed for the burial attendees.
Proposal:
